LOSE WEIGHT AFTER PREGNANCY

Lose weight after pregnancy seems to be automatic for some mothers. In many others, returning to the weight before pregnancy is a huge task.

Lose weight after giving birth is not only nice because you can wear your familiar clothes again, look slimmer and feel better, but it has enormous health benefits.

Caring for a newborn, adapting to new routines and restoring the delivery can be very stressful together. This makes it extra important to take good care of yourself and return to a healthy weight.

This will not only benefit your health but also if you have plans to become pregnant again in the future. Wasting weight after delivery can be counterproductive. After all, your body needs all its energy to defecate.

AVOID LINES OR STRICT DIETS FOR WEIGHT LOSS AFTER PREGNANCY

Do you want to lose weight quickly after the pregnancy? Then lines or following a strict diet is not recommended, because:

If you eat too little or not enough, you do not get enough nutrients. Your body needs a lot of nutrients at this stage because you are restoring a graceful and (hopefully) breastfeeding your baby.

In your fats are toxins stored. If you waste too quickly, the body can not drain these released toxins quickly enough. As a result, too many toxins remain circulating in the blood and eventually, too many of these substances end up in breastfeeding and therefore also with your baby.

WHERE DO THOSE PREGNANCY SILOS COME FROM?

Women with a healthy weight come between 11.5 and 16 kg during pregnancy. This weight gain consists mainly of:

Baby
Placenta
Amniotic fluid
Breast tissue
Extra blood
Enlargement of the uterus
Extra fat storage
The extra fat acts as an energy reserve for birth and breastfeeding.

CONSEQUENCES OF ARRIVING TOO MUCH DURING PREGNANCY

Almost half of the women are more than 16 kg during pregnancy. This has a number of consequences such as:

Increased risk of overweight
Increased risk of diabetes
Increased risk of cardiovascular disease
More risk of complications in later pregnancies
It is therefore important to take good care of yourself during pregnancy.

HOW MANY KILOS WILL DISAPPEAR AUTOMATICALLY?

The good news for if you want to lose weight quickly after pregnancy is that a lot of kilos are disappearing without you having to do anything. You lose these kilos anyway:

5 kilos: baby, amniotic fluid and placenta.
These 3 things together are about 5 kilos and are already right after delivery.
2 to 3 pounds: Moisture
Soon the body begins to clean up the excess moisture itself. That saves about 2 to 3 kilos within a few days after delivery.
0.5 kilos: Shrinking uterus
The uterus shrinks back to its normal size for 2 to 6 days after delivery, so you lose half a kilogram.
1 kilo: Extra blood
During pregnancy, one litre was created, which then disappears within 6 weeks.
Together this is about 9 kilos. That means that for a healthy woman there are still 2.5 to 7 kilos of fat stored. This fat is partly intended for good production of breast milk and will slowly disappear in 6 to 12 months. This is partly dependent on how many months you breastfeed.

If you have more than 7 kilos have arrived, then it is wise to start with healthy tips to lose weight.
